Question: How to sell magazine adverts spaces if you are publishing a new magazine ?

I want to publish a new local free delivered magazine and I need the adverts to finance the project.Suggestions please.
The magazine will be mainly about the town but wit information about holidays,properties,internete and jobs.My problem is not having a sample magazine to show

Answer: Get your shoes on and hit the road babe! Hit up every local business and sell them some advertising space. You will need to be able to let them know what they are going to get for the time and money it will cost them to work with you. How many people will be reading the paper? What are your demographics? For example, if your magazine is about gardening, you will attract gardeners to read it, so you would want to contact businesses that have some thing to do with home and garden..... Hope that helps!
