Question: How often does an auto Finance Company, such as Ford Credit or Chrysler, allow?

a payment deferrment?

They deferred my july 09 payment as a courtesy to me, nothing I requested. Now I need a deferrment. Do you think it's too soon? I bought the car in July 2007 and have never made a late payment EVER.

Answer: Auto Finance is what I do for a living and most all allow 2 deferments per year as long as you have always made your payments as agreed.

I had to do this myself a few years ago with Ford and it was no problem at all.
