business / economics / finance
Question: What is the difference between the terms; business, finance and economics?

Answer: Business is usually profit oriented organization which can sell either a good or a service.

Finance is basically handling all sorts of monetary issues as well as accounting, financial records, funding, loans and etc. Finance can be either an economics branch or a business branch.

Economics is a completely different subject altogether, where the whole micro and macro economic factors in a country or even globally come into play. Economics deals with inflation, demand and supply of goods, economic budgets, development and many many more.

I can't give u a proper definition coz there isn't one but this is the basic gist of it. Hope it helped :D

Question: What entry-level banking or Finance Careers are out there you can pursue?

Answer: If by banking you mean working in a bank, you start fairly low, and they only promote from within. You would start around $30,000 and get to $120,000 at the top. If finance/investment banking you start high but work 100+ hour weeks analyzing investments and creating investment sales pitches. Start $100,000+ and get to $1-2 million in the end (10-14 years!). Other Finance Careers include accounting, financial analyst, real-estate, business analyst, and other related jobs. All are going to require a 4 year degree, and to advance an mba or other certification, such as cpa or cfa. Salaries vary by company, but starting is $40,000-$60,000 and reach $60,000-$100,000.
