Question: Would you do it or not?

Would you trade your Toyota Celica GT-S in for a Subaru Impreza WRX-STI? The reason why I ask this is because, I've had my Celica GT-S for some time now. I loved that car when I first got it, and I still love it. Instead of financing I'm going to save up money and buy it straight cash off the lot. No more car payments, and over paying for a car. Now...with that said. The Celica looks better, it's going to be a classic and a collectible because they don't make them anymore. Subaru Impreza WRX-STI is faster, it has four doors instead of two like the one I have, and more roomier inside too. My friend had one and I was in the passenger seat of one. That car can blow a mustang away easy. LOL Whew! If I keep my Celica, it would look better plus I can make it faster than the Impreza with a turbo kit put in years down the road. I am to make it as fast a Mustang maybe equal to a Corvette in horsepower, and jack up the RPM's on it too. Decisions, Decisions.

Answer: It sounds as if you are really in to the Celica. Personally, I would stick with that route. It will more then liekly be worth more money down the road if it is still in good shape, and as you stated it can be tuned to perform much better.
It is probably also much easier to find aftermarket part for the Toyota, be they off brand or from Toyota (Toyota Racing Development or TRD, check it out on the web.)

To top it off, a tuned Celica will bring in more money later on just in the tuner world alone. As you stated, they don't make them anymore, so as time goes on, it will be harder to find them in good condition, which kicks the value up a good bit to anyone who is looking for one.

And on a side note, don't get hooked to the idea of eating Mustangs and Corvettes on a regular basis. A stock car of that type may fall to a tuned import, but those cars can be tuned just as much as anything else, with more of a base to work from.

Good luck, be careful, and have fun with the mods.

Question: How can I file a judgement against a company that has repossessed my car thru discriminatory ways... Finances.

My car was repossessed on Wednesday. They had ample warning that I was gonna be late on 1 payment. They never called me or tried to contact. We have Caller ID. When I told them I was gonna go after my Deposit back thru a letter, they started calling wanting me to settle out. Everything in my car is gone, I have no idea of where my stuff is including the License Plate, Insurance Cards, Music totalling around $200.00 and I had $150.00 in cash which I borrowed for 1/2 of my car payment. I did contact Better Business Bureau online and I did not have my car for even 1 month. How can I charge a file thru Equal Opportunity as well because I feel as though I was discrimnated because of my financial status as well. I live in Miami, Florida.

Answer: Well, you live in an area where repos are common. Note to self, don't buy a car if you can't make the 1st payment. If their paperwork that you signed states they can repo the car in a certain time period, they will. Nothing you can sue for really. Everything in the car likely will belong to them now. They have to recover their lost cost in having your loan prepared and interest lost in you not making payments. I don't understand why you think this is Equal Opportunity. They have policies, you didn't pay on time. You should never keep money in the car by the way, no matter how little or how much, if it is stolen, you get none of it back.

When it comes to finances, you can't really be discriminated because of your status. Either you can afford the car or you can't. Them repoing the car is their way of saying you can't afford it because you missed the first payment. If you had to borrow part of the first payment on a $200 note, you really shouldn't have purchased the car.

Sorry, this is the way it goes. Banks are lending to more and more people that don't have the credentials. More foreclosures and repos than ever before.
