Question: What are your thoughts about billionaires killing themselves?

The link about is about a billionaire who offed himself because he lost all his money. Do these mega rich people think money is more sacred than life itself? Does this say a lot about the troubles in the world when the rich in control consider wealth more important than life? Will we be doomed to a world of strife with a group such as this running everything?

Answer: At the point which you reach that kind of wealth, the pursuit of wealth has BECOME your life. Getting to that level is all encompassing, you can't be a billionaire without committing yourself, its part of if not all of who you are. When its gone, its like a world-class runner losing his legs with the exception that the runner can focus on other physical pursuits to fill the void left from running. What replaces extreme wealth? When the wealth is gone these guys realize that they have very little substance and self-worth.

With that said, I won't miss him for a minute and the world is indeed in trouble with these self-obsessed egomaniacs running it.
