Definition of Cash

There are a few types of cash when dealing with finance or security trading. Below are some types of cash you may encounter.

Settled Cash

Settled Cash is the cash balance available to the trading company and effectively the owner of the account.

Pending Cash

Pending cash is the cash receipts taken out from trading activities.

Notional Value

Notional Value is the actual value or essentially the market value.
