Question: If you are buying a vehicle off of ebay from the UK to be transferred to the US, Is Yahoo Finance safe?

Answer: No. Yahoo does not offer a payment service, and hasn't for over 2 years. It's a scam.

Also, unless that British car is 25 years old, one of less than 500 examples, or on the list of vehicles approved for import, you cannot import it into the US. In the last case, you can, but it will be expensive and probably difficult.
