Accounting And Finance

Question: Can I get jobs with an accounting/finance temp agency if I have no background in accounting/finance?
I have one of those useless college degree majors (geography) and am interested in breaking into the accounting field (low level, clerk, bookkeeping work, etc.) But I have absolutely no background in accounting/finance.
I thought perhaps I could sign up with one of the accounting temp agencies and start with entry level work and eventually work my way up?
But I don't know if they accept people with no finance background. Does anyone know?
Answer: of course you can! as you've said you're willing to start on the entry level such as clerical and bookkeeping job.
in my current and previous work, there are a lot of guys who are not within the same field of study but yet, they did well... and they are willing to learn....
i remember a girl of no accounting background in our accounting department, she was great but can never be promoted as accounting manager not dept head, due to her educational background. then she move to another firm, and later become the collection manager of an engineering firm.
good luck!

Uk Finance Company

Question: is the un security & finance firm a legal company in UK?
it is running bussiness about inheritance
Answer: No it's not. Are they offering to process an inheritance from someone that has supposedly left millions to you? Are the tel nos 07 redirectable and untraceable nos and emails from free providers like yahoo and hotmail? This is a common scam.
All wills are processed before any distribution of money is made, so there is NEVER a need to pay any fees to release money willed to you.
They want you to send them money to release the money and send it by Western Union, which is untraceable and irretrievable.
Do not respond to them - you will be put on a 'mugs list' and your details sold to other criminals.
Do not send them money - You will be helping to fund criminals and possibly terrorists. You are either being scammed for money on an advance fee scam or getting yourself involved in money laundering as a mule.
Do not send money via Western Union to anyone you don't know personally. No real company would ask you to transfer money in this way.
Do not give them any personal details - beware of identity theft or bank fraud. Your identity may also be used to commit further crimes and this could cause you serious problems in the future.
If you have given them any details, please read this.

Please let as many people as you can know about this by emailing your address book and asking them to also pass it on. Knowledge is the only way to stop these criminals
