Question: I am a U.S. citizen and I need financing for a vacation home in Costa Rica? Know a reputable mortgage company?

I would like to find a reputable mortgage company to finance my vacation home in Costa Rica. 100% financing would be GREAT!!!

Answer: If you're wealthy enough to be talking about coast rica then you're an idiot for asking us (Poor folks) on yahoo about this stuff. I'm poor & black & dont know nothing about buying property there. but I'd suggest you just talk this over with you're financial advisor or a reputable bank. I'd hate for you to run into some con artist that makes you as poor as me. Just some good advice for you.

Question: Finance 1984 manufactured home?

Does anyone know of any companies that will finance a 1984 double wide? I need to finance 45000. I got approved with Vanderbilt Mortgage, but they will only finance homes 15 years old or newer. The lady said it was really hard to find a company that financed anything older. Can someone helP?
also the home sits on a .3 acre lot.
home is sitting on cinderblock foundation with underpinning. It has never been moved with the exception of putting it into place
the land goes with the home and will be owned, there is no rental on the lot

Answer: No one, you are going to need to obtain cash, or a loan on some other property. The trailer will not be worth $1 here soon, there is no way it blue books at 45k now.
