Question: Big Italian co., ENEL - ticker was EN - changed to ENSTY-PK but now can't find quotes -?? How to find, pls.?
Yahoo Finance used to report this stock -- and so did my AOL Personal Finance portfolio -- Now I can't get any info. on it whatever, since the ticker symbol was changed from EN to a pink sheet symbol -- which is ridiculous since this is not a Pink Sheet type stock. How to get daily quotes (or even weekly, since this is a long hold for me..??
Answer: What do you think a pink sheet type stock is? If it is listed on the pink sheet, it's a pink sheet stock. Stocks are listed on a pink sheet because they do not quialify for a listing on the stock exchange.
You can probably obtain a daily stock quote on the company's web site. Or you can phone your broker every day. I don't know if you can obtain daily quotes anywhere on-line for a pink sheet stock.
If the stock has been de-listed, it's probably bad news, and probably time to sell and get out while you still can. No matter how long you've held the stock. A loss is a loss is a loss. A 100% loss is much worse than a 50% loss, or any other loss. Don't wait tool long to kiss this stock goodbye.

Answer: My personal favorite is Quicken. I've used it since 2001 and can't imagine managing my personal finances without it.
I think there are others out there though. Obviously different people will have different preferences.
