Question: As a professional employee in a corporate world, would you pay $50-$100/hr (as needed) to enhance your career?

I am trying to launch a personalized training service (www.chalkstick.com) where I will have series of professional courses in Information Technology, Business & Management, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, etc categories.

These courses will be conducted live by qualified and screened industry experts when you need them (evenings, weekends, etc) through web based tools.

Would you pay $50 to $100/hour from your own pocket for enhancing your career, professional life or even to satisfy your personal curiocity?

What other factors or consideration I should keep in mind as a service provider?

Answer: No, because that's too much for me. But if it's for a class and a well-done one, I think I would. If people really need the serivce they will pay it.

Question: Serious Personal Finance Help needed.... help me in this mess please!!?

In Dec. 03, I had a ER visit. I thought the parents health insurance took care of it. Late found out it didn't. It went to collections. I was making payments, and missed some, so it went to court- the hospital sued me. This was 2 months ago. I haven't heard anything from the laywer, until last night when reviewing my bank statement online. He went in and cleaned out my checking and savings. No warning.

I have other debts I am working on paying down. This hospital debt is about 1400.00 - Can I bargain with this lawyer to get it to a monthly payment?

With this debt, added to the others, I have about 3-4000 in debt. What should I do? As soon as I get my paycheck, the money is out the door!! It's overwhelming.

Might using the phrase "declaring bankrupcty" to this lawyer help at all? I have NO assets, none whatsoever, so he'd lose the money. Is this a wise thing to at least try and bring up?

Please help- I'm trying to get out of debt, but they keep piling it on me..... SOS!!!

Answer: Go to daveramsey.com and read about his plan. You can call him on his radio show with this specific problem and he will guide you without charge. How did the lawyer get the information to empty your account? This lawyer might be in line to lose his license if he has invaded your monies illegally. Ask Dave, he will know...
