Car Finance Loan Re

Question: How do I go about re-financing my car ~ what are some good ways?
Ok I'm 19 and bought a car last year. I took out a loan through Americredit in order to do so and I'm paying SOOO MUCH MONEY monthly for my car. Everyone tells me its too much. When I bought the car, the salesman told me to re-finance my payment after a couple of months and explained how. However, I being the smart girl that I am, completely forgot how to do so. Can someone explain how I go about re-financinng my car payment and good companies to go through? I think someone reccomended a Credit Union type place.... I live in NH, my payments are 303.00 and the vehicle is a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee by the way... I'm not sure if that matters.. Thanks so much!
Answer: I would go to a local credit union - the smaller the better and speak to a loan officer. My son did this recently and got his car financed at 7% even though his credit was not very good. All he had to do was open an account there and I did not have to cosign. Their main concern is whether your budget allows for the payment amount.

Answer: Personal Finance includes budgeting, dealing with your money that you have, saving money, and having money set away in case of emergency. Basically preparing you for living on your own with money. Probably algebra is likely involved.
