Answer: They can tell you if the taxes on the property are paid up, but that's about all. They aren't going to do historical research for you if that's what you are looking for.

Question: What do I do with my parking ticket if I dispute it?
I want to dispute a parking ticket via online, but www.nyc.gov/finance said it takes about 90 days to receive an answer. I only have 30 days to pay the fine or I get more penalties. Should I pay the fine, and then dispute it online?
Answer: In most places you have to pay the fine in order to dispute it. Then if you win, you get your money back.
