Question: Quicken, Microsoft Money or Peachtree??? For Personal Finance Software???
I am looking for the best personal Finance Software... which one do you use and why is it the best one of the three?
I really like creating budgets, billing charts and calculating everything [i'm very orginized]
Answer: If you're comparing strictly those three, I wouldn't consider Peachtree accounting software as Personal Finance. Unless you're already pretty familiar w/ its tools, I'd consider it overwhelming to the first-timer.
I've used Quicken for over a decade and consider it the best Personal Finance app out there. Lots of prepackaged reports and graphs and categories, plus the ability to download transactions from your financial institutions.
Not to say that MS Money falls short. They do a lot of the same things Quicken does, just a little differently. So I wouldn't go from one to the other just for the sake of a better app, because both are quite good at what they do.
